The Holiday Season!!

Wishing you and yours the best Christmas and Holiday Season.

We are having an old fashion Christmas this year. Seeing the family together for a large meal has been the blessings we have enjoyed for many years. Most of the time gifts that were given came from the heart and most of them were homemade, the last few years. Last year NancyAnn knit hoodies for all the grandchildren, homemade jam, cookies and candy were given to the families. The most important thing this year is getting the family together, and it looks like we will have a few more this year than last. We are looking forward to sharing with our friends and family.

Please remember to pray for our troops and send them the necessary things they may need. There are a lot of organizations that forward gifts on to the troops, now is the time to do it the closer we get to Christmas the harder it will be for them to get the gifts on time.

God Bless You,

Dear Glenn:

It has been more years than I can believe. I was at the ripe age of 19 when I was introduced to Challenge to America. I certainly do not expect you to remember me, however I did sit with you many times while having lunch or the such. For whatever reason you had seemed to take an interest in me.I have thought of you many times over the years, which they say is the biggest compliment of all. Well deserving you are, you acted as an incredible inspiration all those years ago, which I’ve never forgotten. In some ways you changed my life…. Ain’t it Great.

My grandfather had owned many hotels years ago and you did your thing at his hotel in Miami, God knows how many years ago. The property was located at 1350 South Dixie Highway in Miami, across from the University of Miami.I’m knee deep in a project that’s ready to launch and I needed some motivational inspiration. That’s when I thought of you. Tony Robbins, whatever. Glenn Turner, he was the real deal.

In any event I hope this message finds you doing well, and that you are pursuing what makes you happy, as I am certain that you are.If you are so inclined I would enjoy hearing from you, I currently reside in Palm Beach.

Wishing you and your family the very best,

Warm regards,

Alan Palange

Fall is Here!!     Posted on September 24, 2012

Time seems to be slipping away. It is hard to believe that summer is over. Most of my younger grandchildren have returned to school. It seems just yesterday they were born. As I look at the world around us, I can’t help but think what a different world it is from the one I grew up in. I can’t help but wonder are we really better off?

Growing up on a farm I had lots of chores. My day would start out with milking the cow for the families breakfast. Going to school was difficult for me because of my harelip, I was ridiculed by many. I learned early on that if I was the first to poke fun at myself the others would laugh with me, not at me. It was one of the greatest lessons I ever learned.

My summer vacations were spent plowing, planting, weeding and taking in the crops. That didn’t leave much time for getting into to much trouble. My Father always said growing up on a farm was a good place to raise a family. Now looking back, I can see where he was right. That was a different world back then. Eventhough the lessons seemed harsh at the time, they were the foundation to my future. I learned that hard work did reap rewards. Being a sharecroppers son, there were times when I was promised a crop I had to give the money to the family so they could survive another year. At the time I felt it was harsh of my Father. Today, I have to say I have been blessed with a wonderful family and memories that could never be replaced.

One of my greatest blessing in life has been my brothers and sister, plus their extend families; that is something no amount of money can buy. My family has always been there through thick and thin. They have seen me in many different phases of my life. They are the one thing that never changes. They truly are a gift from God. I love you all.

Over the years we have heard from many families that have gone through our courses. We love all the letters and emails. Many of you have expressed, that more then money, that the ability to just survive during tough times was worth far more then the cost of the courses. Due to the times we are in, we will be offering the courses at a much lower cost. We will have Steps to Greatness One and Two coming up the first week-end in October, Step Three will be coming up the end of October, the Steps are being sponsored by another company. There is special pricing please send us an email if you are interested in attending, we will respond with the dates, the place and the time.

Fall is just around the cornor       .Posted on September 11, 2012

I look back over the many years I have spend in and around network marketing. Most people are not aware I spent over $13 Million dollars in the early 1970’s defending network marketing, when it was in it’s infancy.

The numerous suits that were filed were around 1,200 and I lost only 1. The one I lost was for a company I didn’t even own for one word they put in a contract. I was busy running for office in Florida and was doing better then the powers at be would want me to be.

Numerous agency’s had tried to buy me off as my companies grew. I was offered a bank charter for $25,000 and $1,000 a month, I told them I didn’t feel it was right. I was offered letters from different agency’s if I paid them so many thousands of dollars a month, I wouldn’t be bothered by them.

Then I recieved a call from a man named Harmon, he was on Nixons Committee to Re-Elect the President, in short the CREEP committee. He demanded over $200,000 I told him that that amount was illegal, to which he responded he didn’t care and they would be in Orlando the next day to pick it up. I went on to tell him that I was Democrat at the time and not Republican, he said he didn’t care he wanted the money. I didn’t pay him, this fact is what the Common Cause found at Watergate; I was number 4 on Nixon’s hit list. By my name was listed “hard times”.

Almost immediately my companies were attacked all over the country. My punishment for not paying off the CREEP Committee. Check under my “Articles to see the actual article from the New York times. I have been asked many times would I have done things differently, and I have always responded, “Right is right if no one is doing it, wrong is wrong if everyone is doing it.” I kept my principles no matter what the others did, and I believe I am a better person for doing so. Yes, some of my decisions brought tough times, but I always gained strength from them.

When you hit hard times you will find after they have passed, there is always something you will gain from the experience.

God Bless You, GWT

Spring of 2012

Here it is spring already. Hard to believe how quickly time passes. It just seem the Christmas Holidays was just here.

I have been busy working on a number of projects. It won’t be long and I can share some of this great information with you.

God Bless You-

Here it is 9/11 and 11 years have passed    .Posted on September 11, 2012

On 9/11 eleven years ago we had just gotten back from a trip to Vegas. When we walked in the door and our phone was ringing. It was Joe Bonadio from New Jersey, he was screaming in the phone turn on our TV. As we did; we couldn’t believe what we were seeing. It seemed like I was on the phone for a very long time, trying to support Joe as the twin towers disappeared to the ground. The twin towers were with in his range of site from New Jersey.

A large ache came up in both mine and NancyAnn’s heart. Like millions of others we were glued to the TV for the next week or so not sure what was really happening. Watching the events unfold, it was a surreal time.

President Bush went to the site and watching him visit the many there was consoling. He was deeply touched as he reached out to the many volunteers there. Mayor Rudy Giuliani took part in the many memorial services held in the New York area, and he was beyond reproach.

Sadly the negative news was not kind to President Bush today. I have never seen the news media as slanted as we see it today, they need an attitude adjustment. I don’t know about you but; I am sick and tired of all the hate and anger that we are seeing and hearing. I don’t know about you but I would love to hear a lot more positive things.

Please include the families and friends of the many that lost their lives on this day 11 years ago in your prayers. I know we will.

God Bless you- GWT

Dear Mr. Turner,

I INVESTED in DTBG back in 1971. I was 19 years old and have never regretted it. I still have some of my DTBG jewelry and tapes. Yes, I do believe you were a huckster. A huckster who told me I could be what I wanted to be. And I thank you for it. I did things and took risks in my life I never would have made if it wasn’t for DTBG.

I failed at most everythng, but at least I tried to do something with my life and to make my children proud of me. The upshot is, that I took to heart the lessons of DTBG and passed what I learned on to my children. My daughter has gone on to be materially successful and my son has achieved a spiritualness I can only imagine.

Summer is here.

Time passes so quickly. It is hard to believe summer is 1/2 gone.

On July 19th we lost our wonderful sister-in-law Joyce Ann Turner. She will be deeply missed by all. She was the strength of the family our own personal angel on earth. Joyce and John stood by me under all conditions not matter how good or bad. They never gave up faith in what I was doing, they were always both there.

Joyce like John never met a person she didn’t like. She gave unselfishly to everyone, always putting everyone ahead of her own needs. Joyce’s health has not been very good the past few years.

There will always be a large whole in the family where you have been. We all deeply miss and love you Joyce Ann. We know you are walking with the angels, you will fit right in because you were one here on earth.

Spring is here!!  Posted on May 21, 2014

Our spring weather hasn’t been as cool as we expected. Our poor family and friends up North thought they would never see an end the snow and winter. It was one of the coldest and longest winters ever in the UP, doesn’t look like there is any global warming up there.

We lost our Brother John, who passed away this May. He will be deeply missed by all. Growing up we called him Saint John. Later when he married Joyce, she would tell us, “Saint he ain’t”. John never met a person he didn’t like or wasn’t a friend. All the years he worked for me, he is the only employee, I never had one complaint on. His wife Joyce passed a couple of years ago, they had been high school sweet hearts. They were a great support to me and my family over all the years. They saved all the materials, audios & videos that were the history of the companies.

It was only a week later and we lost Uncle Jerry. He had suffered with cancer the last few years. His wife Jeannie has been gone now quite a few years. It seems once you get over 65 friends and family start out with health issues that only leads to their departure to the Lord. It reminds us to keep close to those we love. Our family has a yearly reunion it helps to keep us all in touch, if you don’t have one it maybe something you and your family would enjoy.

God Bless You- GWT

“The Impossible Dream”

Even though many years have passed I still consider “The Impossible Dream” as one of my favorite songs. I guess it’s because that’s what I’ve been doing all my life, dreaming “The Impossible Dreams” — but you know something? I have always believed in them. People laughed at me all my life for believing them, but I never lost faith in my dreams. And today I’ve made most of them come true.

Everybody has a dream that other people think is “impossible”. No matter what you want out of life, there’s going to be somebody to tell you it can’t be done. So go out and do it. Remember, it only takes one person to believe in your dream and make it come true — that’s you, my friend, just you.

Merry Christmas  Winter of 2012

With Christmas, New Years, Hanukkah and numerous other holidays coming up, suddenly we see something we have never seen before, the attempted elimination of Christmas. My signature has always included, “God Bless You” in it, something I do not intend to stop now or ever. God has played a major role in my entire life, I know if not for my beliefs I would have never been able to accomplish the things I did in life. I was by God’s Grace that I was empowered to help others. Now suddenly a minority wants God out of our lives when a vast majority want him in. We need to stop letting the minority’s win. As far as I am concerned God is in and those who agree will win. Are you a winner??

It makes one wonder back when going to court was almost a daily thing for me, I had a number of judges tell the attendee’s to remove the “Turner Flag” as they called it. Our people were always proud of our great nation & most of them wore pins with the US Flag on them. It was the same type of “Flag Pin” we see scoffed at today!! There will always be the nay sayers and there will always be those who have the courage to follow their convictions. Which one are you?

One day I showed Terrell Jones I had buried, If, Can’t and Impossible in my backyard. I wanted the negativity these 3 words created out of my life so I could go forward full speed with nothing to slow me down. If — Can’t — and Impossible– should be buried in your backyard. I buried them in mine many, many years ago. I am not resurrecting a one of them. How about you?? If you haven’t buried them yet, do it today and leave them there. Remember today is the first day of the rest of your life, and the choice of how to live it is up to you!! Will the remainder of your days be filled with happiness or regret. Remember you can’t change the past but you can change the future.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year,

God Bless You-

Time passes more quickly the older you get!! It is hard to believe that Christmas, New Years, and even Easter have come and gone.

We have been bless with a new grandson and a great-granddaughter. It is amazing that our other grandchildren are in school and some in college…. It seems like yesterday when Koscot and Dare to Be Great were up and running. Life back then was like being a snowball in a avalanche.

We have been blessed to hear from many of you, who were apart of one or the other companies, who contacted us over the years. Many of you took what you learned and applied it to the rest of your lives.  Finding out that life can be a roll a-coaster many of you, held you heads up high and continued to go forward no matter what the odds were. There may have been times you had to pull your head in but in the end you won. Sometimes the only thing left was your sanity, but you made it. You were able to create something out of what seems like nothing to others. Learning that success is something that we have to constantly strive to do, you kept getting up when you were knocked down, when others would allow the defeat to keep them down.

With today’s economy your personal strength and creativity keeps you going. Prayers give you the strength you thought you lost. Realizing you aren’t dependent on your own strength will give you what you need to get through any thing that comes your way. I know from personal experience how prayer can get you through the bleakest of times. So when you are ready to give up on yourself, don’t give up on God because he is always there never giving up on you.

We are working on updating information and creating a special membership site. Please check back for the changes.

We have a beautiful, wonderful world – if people would only change themselves, they wouldn’t have to worry about the world changing.

I am for the man that is willing to work, willing to sweat and pray, stick in there and never give up. Anybody can make it if they stick with it.

This is a world where a man or woman can still reach the stars if they are willing to stand on their toes just a little bit.

Hey Glenn,

I hope you’re making yourself have a great day no matter what!

I just wanted to stop by here and say, “Thank You!” I heard your name get brought up in a mastermind I was in by Joe Schroeder about a year ago, and looked you up.

I’m glad I did. From there, I bought one of your programs called “The Best of Glenn Turner.” Your story is very inspirational, and your mindset during those challenging times was amazing.

My desire is to focus my thoughts in the direction of wanted and leave everything else alone. And I’m practicing it everyday. It’s not about the money you’ve made that intrigues me, but how many people that you’ve helped remember who they really are. This is where I’m headed as well. Thank you for your inspiration, and dedication!

Stay Blessed!

Can’t, If, Impossible, and Should have been buried for about a year now. It feel GREAT!

Christmas and New Years is Almost Upon Us    Posted on December 10, 2013

This year has seemed to pass more quickly than the years before. It seems like it was just spring and here we are headed into winter.

With the economy what it is many people are down because they don’t feel they can afford expensive gifts. When I was a little boy, we hardly receive anything, but something that was passed down from one child to the next. What I remember most is the feeling of oneness we shared as a family. The gifts really weren’t that important. It was a time to visit our family, and a time to rejoice for what we had. Now those warm memories are worth far more then the gifts we may have received. The gifts are long gone, but the memories are most important. So build wonderful memories of each other and the times you share together.

As many beds that I have sat at, when people are getting ready to meet the Lord, they never talk about the gifts, they talk about the times they missed with their families. They regret not spending more quality time with their children. They regret not forgiving someone over the smallest of reasons, and they regret not trying to improve broken relationships. They regret not telling someone they were sorry for what they did. Instead of regrets give the gift of love and forgiveness. Than you will be happy and fulfilled with the joy that is yours. Giving true meaning for the season!!!

God Bless You,  GWT

I challenge you to take back your mind. I am selling nothing –because you believe you are nothing. You believe in a house and a car, but not in yourself.

What does it take to be a success? Being a success is simple if you are willing to take the first step. The first step is the hardest!! I am not talking about financial success necessarily — become whatever is success to you — the best of whatever you choose to do or become.

To believe it can happen to YOU, associate with people to help you believe.
